Visions and Values

Government Procurement Service is the national procurement partner for all UK public services and is part of the Efficiency and Reform Group within the Cabinet Office.

We provide a professional procurement service to the public sector to enable organisations to deliver improved value for money in their commercial activities and provide professional support when it matters, advising on technical issues, energy saving and environmental improvements.

In addition to the substantial savings that can be enjoyed through our significant buying power, economies of scale and strategic partnerships, we take the heat - and delays - out of the procurement process itself. We estimate that we can save our customers, on average, 77 days - and all the associated costs - by enabling them to bypass these pre-purchase stages.

We have extensive expertise in procurement, withover 500,000 products and services delivered through over 1,500 suppliers, in ICT, property and office solutions, energy, travel and professional services.

Our EU-compliant, benchmarked frameworks enable organisations to deliver improved value for money in their commercial activities. We also provide expertise and professional support to our customers.
