Available For Any Public Sector Body
The Coal framework agreement is pan government enabled, which means that it has been set up to cover any public sector body wishing to join. Sites can join at any point but sufficient time will be needed to run further competitions.
The total duration of the Coal framework agreement is 48 months from 1st April 2009 – an initial 24 months with 2 x 12 month extensions.
Pricing for the initial contract is either a fixed price for the full 24 months or a fixed price for the first 12 months with a price review for the second 12 months (this is capped by an agreed index), but this would not affect any sites joining between now and 31st March 2011, as they would just take a fixed price for the remaining term.
All prices include delivery, although this element can be reviewed annually.
