The national framework agreement for telecommunications covering voice expenditure and line rental within the NHS was launched in Spring 2006.
The agreement covers supply of telecoms - voice expenditure and line rental within the NHS in England. This means the line rental charges associated with the physical telephone lines connected to each trust, as well and the supporting tariffs for local, national, international, mobile and 08XX calls made across those lines.
Next Generation Networks Procurement Standards
The Office of Government Commerce has created a set of 'best practice' procurement standards and guidance to assist buyers of Next Generation Network-based telecommunication services.
