Scratch Pad

1. The Scratch Pad is a feature which allows you to compare products and services in one place.

2. You do not need to be logged in to use this feature, and the Scratch Pad clears automatically once you close down your browser.

3. The Scratch Pad can also be used as a shopping list to keep track of products and services that are of interest to you and can be printed.

   

Adding Products to your Scratch Pad

1. Once you have found the list of products you are interested in, select the "Mark for Scratch Pad" tick box next to each product that you wish to compare or store for purchase later. click on the "Add to Scratch Pad" button at the top or the bottom of the page.

   

   

2. The products you have selected are now visible on the right hand menu bar inside the Scratch Pad, and you will be redirected to the Scratch Pad details page.

Adding Services to your Scratch Pad

1. Once you have a list of suppliers underneath a service framework agreement tick the boxes next to each supplier name for the suppliers you wish to compare the services of.

   

2. You can also add each individual supplier's service from the service details page

   

3. The services you have selected are now visible on the right hand menu bar inside the Scratch Pad, and you will be redirected to the Scratch Pad details page.

Comparing Products and Services

1. The Scratch Pad details page is separated into products and services sections so that each can be compared separately.

2. To view the comparison table for products click on the "View comparison table" link. The comparison table will then open in a new browser window for you to easily compare the details of each product in one place.

   

3. To view the comparison table for a service framework agreement click on the "View comparison table for the xxxxxxx framework agreement" link. The comparison table will then open in a new browser window for you to easily compare the details of each service in one place.

   

Add Products to your basket for purchase

1. If you are a registered user and you are logged in, you have the ability to add the products in your Scratch Pad to the basket ready for purchasing.

2. To add the products to your basket, tick the box next to the product/s you wish to purchase and click on the add to basket button.

Other Options

1. You can remove products from your Scratch Pad by clicking the "Remove" button.

   

2. You can use the "Clear all products" button to remove all products from your Scratch Pad.

   

3. You can use the "Clear all services button" to remove all services from your Scratch Pad.
